Submissions of orders
When placing an order through astalou.com, the system will automatically send you an order confirmation by email with a list of the products you have ordered and an order number. At the same time, it confirms that we have made a binding agreement in accordance with these terms and conditions. You will, prior to confirming your order, be able to correct or delete the products you have placed in your shopping cart, and you may change the information provided in connection with your purchase. Your order will not be shipped and is thus not binding until you have pressed "Pay now".
If you have entered incorrect or insufficient contact information when placing your order, or if you have provided an incorrect delivery address when placing your order, we encourage you to contact us as soon as possible on contact@astalou.com for the mistake to be corrected and for you to receive correct information about your order. We will do our best to correct the mistake before shipping your order. However, if incorrect or insufficient information has been entered and this is not corrected in time, you are responsible for the parcel with your order being sent to a wrong address. Astalou does not replace or reship parcels that have been sent to incorrect addresses and does not cover the costs related to reshipment of parcels (e.g., payment of postage or new delivery costs) due to incorrect information entered by you at the time of placing the order.
Payment
Alle prices on Astalous online shop are the price quoted at the time of placing the order and included VAT. Reservations are made for out-of-stock items and misprints. The shipping price, if any, is also stated on your order as well as the total price of your order, just as it will appear on the order confirmation. We accept the following payment cards: VISA, MasterCard and Maestro. Astalou will draw the amount from your account once the products are shipped. Your payment details are sent directly, and SSL encrypted to Astalous payment provider. Astalou has no access to your payment details.
Delivery
Your parcel can be delivered either to a parcel shop or directly to your home address. You will receive a tracking number via the email provided during your webshop order.
Astalou offers free delivery in Denmark for purchases over DKK 399. For purchases less than DKK 399, the postage cost will be shown on your order before you make the purchase. The price for shipment inside the EU is 18 EUR for purchases totaling less than 99 EUR. For purchases over 100 EUR, delivery is free of charge.
The usual shipping time is between 2 and 6 weekdays from the date of order confirmation. Astalou is responsible for your purchase until you receive it.
Right of withdrawal
When shopping at astalou.com, you have the right to withdraw your purchase within 30 days. The right of withdrawal period expires 30 days after the day on which you or another person acting on your behalf (carrier excluding) obtain physical possession of the goods.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must give notice of this to contact@astalou.com . You can use the standard cancellation form further down on this page, but it is not mandatory. The cancellation period has been met if you send notification of exercising the right of cancellation before the cancellation period has expired. We recommend that you keep your receipt or documentation that you have sent the notification and the product(s).
You cannot cancel your order by refusing to receive your order or by failing to pick it up without prior notice.

You must return the products in their original packaging (in fairly same condition as when received) and securely wrapped. You bear the risk for the products until we receive them. We therefore recommend you keep receipt and tracking information until you have confirmation from us that the items have been received correctly. All costs related to returning the products must be paid by you. Further you must ensure that the returned items are send directly to above address and not to a parcel shop.

Products excluded the cancellation right
Some products are excluded from the cancellation right including “products that for health or hygiene reasons are not suitable to be returned, and where the packaging has been broken after delivery”.
As our products are skin care products, you will lose your cancellation right if you break the packaging or use the product as it thus is not of health or hygiene reasons suitable to be returned.
Refund of the purchase amount
Once your return is received and inspected, your refund will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original payment method within 10 business days. Please note that depending on your credit card company, it may take an additional 2-10 business days after your credit is applied for, to be posted to your account.
Complaints procedure
If you have any complaints concerning your purchase, please contact us by email: contact@astalou.com in order for us to find a solution. You may also submit a complaint about goods purchased from us to the Center for Complaint Resolution, Nævnenes Hus, Toldboden 2, 8800 Viborg, Denmark. https://naevneneshus.dk/
If you reside in another EU country than Denmark, you can also use the European Commission online complaints register when submitting your complaint. You can submit the complaint online through http://ec.europa.eu/odr. When submitting the complaint, you must state our email address: contact@astalou.com.
Inspection and notification of defects
Your purchase of Astalou products is covered by a 2-year right of complaint, in case of defects or imperfections, from the time of delivery of the goods. You are liable to examine the products upon receival in order to establish any defects or imperfections. Complaints must be made within a reasonable time after you have discovered the defect. Notification given within one month of discovering the defect is always timely.
Personal data
The personal data provided to Astalou in connection with your purchase at astalou.com (name, address, telephone number, email etc.) and any other information you may give Astalou will be treated confidentially and will be used to dispatch your order, for statistical purposes and in connection with other forms of contact with you. Astalou does not collect information about you from other sources.
The personal data are transmitted from you to astalou.com in a non-encrypted form. Personal data are stored by Astalou in a database located on a secure server to which there is no public access from the Internet. Such information is stored for 6 years and only to the extent permitted by law.
According to the Danish Act on the Processing of Personal Data, you can obtain access to and correct the personal data that concern you. You can also object to the further use of your data.
Credit card information passes through astalou.com to PBS via a secure and encrypted SSL connection. Astalou has no access to your payment card information.
Security and privacy
Astalou is committed to protecting your privacy. All personal information obtained by us will be used solely for the purpose of processing orders. We will not sell, trade or rent your personal information to third parties.
In order to fulfill your order, it is necessary to know your name, e-mail address, postal address and your credit card details. All information for our order processing will be treated strictly confidential.
If you send us an order containing information about your account, we will provide access to a security server. Security software (SSL) encrypts all information that you enter before it is sent to us. Furthermore, all customers will be protected against unauthorized access by third parties.
